I have been a tailor of men's and women's clothing for over forty years. I have a diverse range of clients from all walks of life. One of my clients is a Catholic priest. He casually asked me one day whether I could create linen used in liturgical church services.
I thought about this and realised that liturgical linen, whatever the denomination, is a significant part of a religious service. The linen helps to tell the story of that service.
So I researched the issue and concluded that I could produce high-quality, authentic religious linen, for all types of religious services and events.
The liturgical linens that I produce are made to traditional sizes and patterns, going back many centuries in some cases.
The fabric used is 100% linen especially woven for the Altar. I do not use any cotton blends or synthetics. The fabric is ISO 14001: I care about our planet.
I have now been successfully producing these linens for a range of church parishes in New Zealand, for 12 months.
If you would like to enquire about liturgical linens - whatever your denomination - please email me (Brendan Main) at churchlinen.nz@gmail.com I am confident of being able to produce a high quality liturgical linen to your exact size and design.
