Care Instructions

These clothes are not to be folded. When taken off the Altar the Altar Cloth is to be rolled.

Must be handwashed or dry cleaned. If handwashed dry to nearly 85% and then press dry to get a clean look.

Roll back on the tube after being cleaned and dried. Cover with tissue to keep clean.

Do not use starch.

Details

Altar Linen Care

Each linen item has special care instructions. Church linen is blessed before use. Linen cloth that has been bless should be burried in a garden and not burnt or thrown in the rubbish.

Wash Instructions

After soaking linen in warm water and mild soap, check linen for stains. If any use mild soap direct on the stain and scrub with a soft brush.

Once stains are removed wash by hand or in machine on gentle cycle.

Take linen and dry on clothes rack until 85% dry, then with a clean iron press on wrong side of linen till dry.

Becareful not to sorch.

Lay flat until ready to fold.

Wax on Linen From Candles

If possible freeze the linen fabric and then gentley scrapee wax off with a blunt knife. If residue remains, lpace on wax paper, flip linen cloth and iron from underside until wax comes off.

Launder as usual.

Folding Instructions
